Issue Position

North Dakota has been the leader and the envy of the other states when it comes to economic growth and personal income growth. Our state has moved steadily up the ladder and now sits atop the nation, economically. The best work force in America, innovative and creative entrepreneurs and business owners and leaders, and sound state government policies have enabled us to develop our God-given resources. A sound low tax structure, a reasonable, yet effective regulatory regime, a high quality education environment, and a commitment to small government policies will keep our state moving forward. Economic growth has to be the keystone of what we do as a people and as a state.
